This Gamma takes in up to 45W from a standard USB-C charger (like your phone or laptop charger), which operates at 15V/3A, meaning less power loss in the cables and jacks due to high current draws.

The included cooler, designed with The Solo Mining Co, performs significantly better than OSMU’s default “goldie” heatsink. Our stock configuration has a 45W power limit and allows overclocking approaching 2TH out of the box (though a rear fan is beneficial or necessary for top speeds).

Other benefits of the GekkoAxe design include:
– a stable (and slightly overcharged) fan voltage that won’t sag under load while overclocking
– more accurate ASIC voltage regulation
– better high load current handling and stability
– built-in protection for power overloads
– better OLED screen retention in press-fit holes
– rear fan jack with linked speed control, making secondary fan wiring easier
– Firmware updates via Program port without main power, simplifying cabling at the workbench
– Improved wifi reception
